Key Responsibilities

  • 1–3 years of practical SEO experience.
  • Strong understanding of off-page SEO and ethical link building.
  • Experience creating business, service or software product listings.
  • Familiarity with B2B software directories, review websites and comparison platforms.
  • Experience with backlink research, guest-post outreach and link prospecting.
  • Familiarity with Reddit, Quora and online forum participation.
  • Fundamental knowledge of on-page and technical SEO.
  • Experience using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog or similar SEO tools.
  • Good research, written communication, follow-up and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide clear progress updates.
  • Comfortable maintaining trackers and reports in Google Sheets.
  • Experience working with B2B SaaS, cloud services, cybersecurity, ERP, backup or enterprise technology companies is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Marketplace, Google Cloud Marketplace, Salesforce AppExchange, Atlassian Marketplace or NetSuite SuiteApp is a plus.
  • Understanding of website authority, organic traffic, anchor-text distribution, topical relevance and backlink quality.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Create and optimize company, product and service listings across relevant business directories.
  • Manage listings on B2B software discovery, review and comparison platforms.
  • Work with platforms such as TrustRadius, Software Finder, G2, Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice, PeerSpot, SourceForge, Clutch, GoodFirms and SaaSHub.
  • Assist with product listings on Microsoft Marketplace, Google Cloud Marketplace, Salesforce AppExchange, Atlassian Marketplace and NetSuite SuiteApp.
  • Collect listing information, coordinate with internal teams and follow up on pending submissions and approvals.
  • Research relevant backlink opportunities using competitor analysis and SEO tools.
  • Conduct personalized outreach for guest posts, niche edits, listicles, resource pages, expert contributions and editorial links.
  • Participate organically on Reddit, Quora and relevant industry forums without excessive promotion or spam.
  • Support keyword research, internal linking, basic on-page SEO and technical SEO checks.
  • Monitor business listings, backlinks, keyword rankings, referral traffic and organic performance.
  • Maintain clear trackers for listings, marketplace submissions, outreach, backlinks and weekly progress.
  • Follow ethical SEO practices and avoid PBNs, automated links, irrelevant directories and other spammy techniques.

Education & Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant SEO certifications or practical SEO experience will be an added advantage.
