Introduction

Juanita's is the top most brand of Menudo, Hominy & Pozole. Juanita's products are made by a third-generation family-owned and operated business based in Wilmington, California. Juanita's Foods is the world's largest producer of Menudo soup ever and also achieved the Guinness World Record for it.

Problem Statement

Juanitas was facing all sorts of issues from security to DevOps due to old hardware and unsupported versions of the Oracle database, operating system, app server, and custom extensions.

Our Solution

After thorough research and analysis, Vast Edge suggested an as-is migration of their EBS environment (dev, test, prod, and DR) to reduce risks. The successful migration was then followed by an upgrade on the cloud by utilizing a parallel Oracle platform service environment.
